(hereinafter: “We”) is the operator of this website www.apertus-cp.de and the controller responsible for the personal data of the users (hereinafter: “You”) of the website in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).
We protect your privacy and personal data. We collect, process, and use your personal data in accordance with this privacy policy and the applicable data protection laws, especially the GDPR. This privacy policy explains which personal data we collect, process, and use about you. We therefore ask you to read the following carefully.
1. Collection of personal data
Personal data under this privacy policy refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”), especially your name and email address.
Personal data also includes information about your use of our website. In this context, we or the web space provider collect data such as: web browser and version, operating system, the domain name of your internet provider, the so-called referrer URL (the page from which you accessed our site), the IP address, information about your visits (e.g., data volume transferred, location from which you accessed data, and other connection data and sources you accessed). This generally occurs via log files and cookies. More details on log files and cookies are provided below.
Without this data, it would be technically impossible to deliver and display the website content, so collecting this data is essential. We also use anonymous information for statistical purposes to optimize our offerings and technology. We reserve the right to check log files retrospectively if there is suspicion of illegal use of our services. Processing is carried out under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, based on our legitimate interest in improving the stability and functionality of our website.
2. Contact form / email contact
When you contact us via the online form or email, we store the information you provide voluntarily to answer your inquiry and any follow-up questions. The processing of data entered in the contact form is based on a legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We delete the data you provide via the contact form once the communication is completed or your request is fully resolved, provided the data was not also collected for contractual purposes. Communication relating to legal claims is stored until the end of the statutory limitation period.
The contact form is provided to make it easier for you to get in touch with us. Your information is stored for the purpose of handling your inquiry and any follow-up questions. If you contact us to request an offer, the processing is for the purpose of carrying out pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
3. Data security
All information you transmit to us is stored on servers within the European Union. Unfortunately, transmitting information over the internet is not entirely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted via the internet to our website. However, we secure our website and other systems through technical and organizational measures against loss, destruction, access, alteration, or distribution of your data by unauthorized persons. In particular, your personal data is encrypted during transmission using the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) coding system.
4. Integration of third-party services and content
Our website may include content, services, and features from other providers, such as maps from Google Maps, videos from YouTube, and graphics/images from other websites. For this data to be displayed in your browser, transmitting your IP address is required. The third-party providers thus see your IP address.
While we strive to use only providers that require the IP address solely to deliver content, we have no control over whether the IP address is stored. If we are aware that it is stored, we inform our users.
5. Google Maps
This website uses Google Maps, operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). This allows us to display interactive maps and enables convenient use of the map feature.
When you visit the website, Google is informed that you accessed the relevant page, regardless of whether you have a Google account or are logged in. If you are logged in, your data is linked to your Google account. If you do not want this, log out before activating the button.
Google stores your data as user profiles and uses them for advertising, market research, and/or to tailor its website. Such analysis is conducted (even for users not logged in) to provide personalized advertising and inform other users about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles; to exercise this right, you must contact Google.
If you do not want Google to collect, process, or use data about you via our website, you can disable JavaScript in your browser settings. However, doing so may restrict website functionality.
Further information on Google’s data processing can be found at Google Privacy Policy and Google Data Liberation.
Legal basis for using Google Maps and related data transfer is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
6. Online presence on social media
We maintain online presences on social networks and platforms to communicate with customers, prospects, and users and to inform them about our services. When you access these networks, the terms and data processing policies of the respective providers apply.
Unless stated otherwise in our privacy policy, we process user data when they communicate with us within these networks, e.g., by posting on our pages or sending us messages.
7. Notes on data processing related to Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service by Google Ireland Limited. If the data controller is outside the EEA or Switzerland, Google LLC handles the processing.
Google Analytics uses cookies to analyze website usage. Information generated by cookies is usually transferred to and stored on Google servers.
We use Google Analytics with the “_anonymizeIp()” extension, ensuring IP anonymization and preventing direct personal identification. The transmitted IP address is not merged with other Google data.
Google processes data on behalf of Hostwerk and the site operator to analyze website usage, compile activity reports, and provide other website and internet services (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Users’ interests are sufficiently protected by pseudonymization.
Google is certified under the Privacy Shield and ensures an adequate level of data protection. Data linked to cookies, user IDs, or advertising IDs is automatically deleted after 50 months.
Users can prevent Google Analytics tracking by adjusting cookie settings or installing a browser plugin: Google Analytics Opt-out.
Visitors can also opt out by clicking an opt-out link, setting a cookie to prevent future tracking.
For more details, see Google Terms of Use and Google Privacy Policy.
Under applicable law and GDPR, users have rights including access, correction, data portability, deletion, and objection. To exercise these, users can contact Hostwerk or the website operator.
8. Disclosure to third parties
We do not share your personal data with third parties unless you have consented or we are legally entitled or obligated (e.g., law enforcement, public safety, intellectual property enforcement).
If third parties process data on our behalf, we contractually require them to use the data only for legally permitted purposes, and we are authorized to monitor them.
9. Your rights to information, correction, blocking, deletion, and objection
You have extensive rights regarding your personal data, including access, correction, deletion, blocking, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability. To exercise your rights or get more information, contact us at info [at] steincenter-ahaus.de.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
10. Changes to this privacy policy
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy to comply with current legal requirements or adapt it in the event of new or modified services. The new privacy policy will apply on your next visit.
